China Clean Expo 2023 Attendance Hits a New Record

China Clean Expo 2023, organized by IM Sinoexpo and supported by ISSA – The worldwide cleaning industry association, China Tourist Hotel Association, China Commerce Association for General Merchandise and China Architectural Culture Centre, presented a successful returning show on March 31st, 2023 at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).

As a sub-show of Hotel & Shop Plus, the leading hospitality and commercial space event in China, CCE 2023 enjoyed tremendous professional buyers attracted by HSP 2023, the exhibition halls were bustling with professional buyers including property management companies, cleaning service providers, public facility management companies, commercial real estate developers, shopping center owners, hotel groups and retailers from all over the country, aiming to source high-quality cleaning products, solutions and excellent cleaning service suppliers. The total exhibition area of Hotel & Shop Plus 2023 reached 210,000 sqm, over 400 cleaning companies inside and outside China showed up to display their latest products, equipment and solutions, and the visits of trade buyers reached 124,505 during the 4-day exhibition, both the scale of the exhibition and the number of visitors reached a new high.

As a comprehensive mega show focusing on cleaning industry, CCE 2023 drew many outstanding cleaning companies and brands from home and abroad, the show floor was filled with various high-quality, high-tech and popular exhibits, including Cleaning Equipment & Accessories, Cleaning Tools & Agents, Restroom Supplies, Air Purification & Epidemic Prevention, Building Facility Maintenance & Management, Smart Cleaning Systems, Laundry Equipment & Products, Environmental Sanitation Facilities & Products etc. and CCE turns into an ideal one-stop platform to explore all sectors of the cleaning industry chain.

The 4-day exhibition also held more than 20 professional forums, including well-known Shanghai International Facility Management Forum, Contracted Cleaning Development Forum, China “Quality Air, Good Future “Theme Forum etc., where industry experts and thought leaders delivered inspiring speeches and round tables, and shared opinions on topics people are most concerned in the fields of cleaning, property management, laundry, air purification, HVAC and epidemic prevention. Nearly 2,000 professionals from commercial real estate development units, hotels, department stores, property management companies, and cleaning fields attended these forums.

Cleaning Skills Competitions were also held concurrently, through multiple competition events including dust mopping, glass cleaning, scrubber operating, stone conservation and air treatment, it fully displayed the latest technologies and innovative development in commercial cleaning service. Audiences gathered to watch real-time operation, and contestants demonstrate how professional cleaning equipment and tools can improve cleaning quality and efficiency onsite.

With the lift of the epidemic prevention policy, industry exchanges restored gradually. Domestically, cleaning association delegates, leaders, experts and industry professionals nationwide gathered under one roof for face-to-face communication; and foreign exhibitors, audiences and experts also rejoined CCE2023. It was worth mentioning that Gavin Macgregor-Skinner, Senior Director of GBAC (Global Biorisk Advisory Council), division of ISSA and Haruko Niitsu, who is called a national treasure in Japan for her excellent cleaning at Tokyo Haneda Airport, also showed up at CCE2023, they shared leading cleaning concept and experience from international cleaning community with attendances.

For those who could not attend the exhibition physically, the live streaming of onsite activities was provided via WeChat, which has attracted over 33,000 viewers to experience CCE 2023 online, and the recorded version is also available to replay after the exhibition. Through the integration of online and offline, CCE further contributed to the communication of cleaning industry.

With the successful conclusion of this edition, CCE is proud to announce its new cleaning journey. From December 14th to 16th, 2023, CCE Shenzhen will take place at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center for the first time; and CCE Shanghai will meet you again at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from March 26th to 29th, 2024!
